The Power BI World Tour - London Recap

By Akshay Anikhindi posted Aug 28, 2017 02:44 PM

The first stop of the 7 city PUG World Tour wrapped up today, and what a wrap it was! In fact, the final sessions on the second day (scheduled for 1 ½ hour) all went over their allotted time. It was a fantastic way to end the conference with these three sessions:

  • How to prepare and study for the 778 certification exam
  • How to translate the concepts learned into real-life business scenarios
  • Ask the Experts – last chance questions with Microsoft and MVP’s

The 26 presenters were of course the star of the show and they certainly deserve their fame! The 30 sessions, broken into three tracks (Enterprise Business Intelligence, Technical, and Power User/Business Analyst) were all well attended. One of the more popular sessions was a data analyst discussing how to get actionable insights from data they have tracked on a very popular football (soccer for us here in the US!) player – Lionel Messi.

A special shout-out to our London Content Committee!
