Have you made your list of Power BI problems and questions? If not, it's time to start and pack that list in your suitcase as you prepare to head to Dublin. According to expert speaker Jen Stirrup, Data and BI Summit is just the place for that.
“Bring your problems and questions. Someone will be able to help!” - Jen
Jen shares with us her excitement for Power BI, the conference, her session, and having the Microsoft team onsite.
PUG: Please share a “golden nugget” attendees will take away from your session that is not found in the session agenda.
Jen: I want to show that you can get far with R, even with just the most basic lines of code. R does a lot of the hard work for you. You don’t have to be a data scientist, and non-maths types should not be deterred from joining in the fun. It’s great to be the person that knows the data extremely well, and to point things out. R can help you to be the data detective!
PUG: Aside from speaking, what you are most looking forward to about being part of Data & BI Summit?
Jen: Hearing the Power BI product team speak and learning from them. We will be hearing it straight from the horse’s mouth and that is a major reason to attend.
PUG: What is your best advice for Power BI Users attending Data & BI Summit?
Jen: Bring your problems and questions. Someone will be able to help! By attending the Summit, you will be an active participant in learning. You can sit in sessions all day if you like, or you can go and make use of the opportunity to ask the questions directly of the Power BI team.
PUG: What’s on your personal Data & BI Summit agenda? Share any sessions you don’t want to miss!
Jen: Definitely speak to the Microsoft team members. I will be attending all of their sessions. The Power Bi team are just as passionate about data and Power BI as you are. In fact, they live Power Bi 24 x 7, so people should take this opportunity to learn from the best!
Don’t miss the chance to learn from Jen and experts like her at this inaugural event taking place 24-26 April 2018 in Dublin, Ireland. Start planning your learning journey and now!
