    Hey all,

I am the administrator of this user group and I have not been doing a good job. There is plenty that's been going on in my life, but that's true for all of you, too. The important part is that I want to get us going with meetings again.

Please complete this survey if you are interested. It is short - 3 required questions on location and schedule. There are some optional questions for more detail if you'd like to share!

Please feel free to reply here as well with any discussion, and I will update this thread along with the group main page for the new schedule and meeting location.

Any news on the upcoming meet up?  Are speakers aligned?  I would be happy to present on a topic if you need.

    All,

I've gotten some good feedback on the survey so far. Starting mid-next week I will review responses and start looking for locations and lining up content for our (re)Launch meeting in early March. Please share the group and the survey with anyone you think may be interested.

Update. I'll review survey submissions and start identifying a location and first few meetings' content on Wednesday this week.

Is the group hard-set on Wednesday meetings?  Was wondering if I missed a polling question?

I was wondering the same myself.  Wednesdays (and Mondays too) are my worst nights.

I'm pretty flexible except for Wednesdays.  I teach at Saint Josephs.  Also, we could always work with SJU to bring host the user group .  They have hosted the Tableau User Group.

M-Th nights tend to work best for folks and I'd try to avoid Friday nights, most folks want to just head home!  Check out Meetups and see when the next Philly BI User Group is...maybe partner with them.  They seem to be part of the SQL Server group, though.  https://www.meetup.com/Philly-Business-Intelligence-User-Group/

    Good luck!

Not set for Wednesday. The event that has been created is merely a placeholder and will be updated with a full agenda and date and location. I did not include a day preference on the survey - this is an oversight on my part.

To be honest, I expect that our first meeting day of week will be determined by availability of the host location we choose more than any of our specific preferences.

My intent is to avoid Mondays and Fridays. The first meeting (aiming for week of March 11) will likely be decided more by facility availability. Based on this thread I am leaning toward Thursdays.

I have lot going on right now at home and won't be able to make this meeting. I'm bummed on that front, but I am likely going to register and attend the Power Conference in DC April 1-2. Will any of you be attending?
