Pie chart filter

    Hello,

I have a problem that I want to see data only of rows, there column "Measure" in not blank, so on table I just filter this value, but I cannot filter the same thing in pie chart (it doesn't work), and pie chart shows me data of all table (Total of Failed - 48, Passed 219,  Untested - 19).
If it is possible somehow to filter "Measure" column to include only rows that is not blank for pie chart, or maybe use different way to visualize Total of Failed, Passed, Untested?

    Hello:

I hope one of these two solutions might help.

On edit interactions ( home-format) icon on right. You first click on object you have involved in filtering and then click edit interactions and click on filter ( to turn circle dark) so that chart won't filter.

Otherwise the error handling examples might work on the PDF.

I hope this is helpful in some way.

    Best regards,

    Bill

    Hi Again:

Maybe you want to do a disconnected table. See my attached "Selected Metric" - you can choose measure and the chart will populate on the measures you set up in this style. Does this help? Example attached.

    Hi Agne:

Can you just put in a filter for your measure in the filter panel (with criteria that filters out blanks)? E.g. Measure > = 1/01/2020?

Below I am filtering out items with stock less than or equal to 25.

I hope this helps. If not you probably can do a calculated table to filter out the blank results.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello again: RE: Edit Interactions

I meant to add, after clicking on the object you want to change connection with then you click on edit interactions and choose the chart you don't want to filter (black filter circle for the chart you are manipulating  becomes solid black. Then click on edit interactions again to turn it off.

    Thanks,

    Bill

@William Skelley thank you for your effort.
I do know about those interactions, but they don't help me.
I cannot understand why it is not possible to filter Measure value for pie chart (it's forbidden to do this action).

    Hi @Agne Krgn,

I would have gone in the same direction and put the measure on the filter pane as well.

Please can you upload your sample file.

    Thank you,
