  • 1.  Difficulty with DATESINPERIOD

    Posted Jan 12, 2022 11:45 AM
    Hello everyone,

I have a table with a Month/Year column and a data usage column.  I am trying to identify 3 consecutive months of "0" data usage from the current month backwards.  My DAX is providing all results if a "0" occurs and I only need consecutive "0"s.  The slicer is set to "relative date".

Any ideas on how to fix this ?

    Thanks in advance !

Last 3 Months Data Usage =
    CALCULATE (
SUM('Flat File Verizon usage Master'[Data Usage Column]),
    DATESINPERIOD (
'Flat File Verizon usage Master'[Month Year], -- returns period from date column
MAX ( 'Flat File Verizon usage Master'[Month Year] ), -- starting from MAX date
    -3, -- shifting it back 3 intervals
MONTH -- each interval being a month ))
