Renato,
Wrike's API prefers production applications use the OAuth 2.0 authentication protocol, which means you'll need to build a custom data connector in Power BI. While OAuth 2.0 is the preferred method of authenticate to the API -- particularly if you want your Power BI application to be used by multiple users -- it does allow applications to authenticate using a
permanent access token for single users and for testing.
My company
emdata.ai specializes in building these connectors on the Power Platform, which includes Flow, PowerApps, and Power BI. I'm happy to show you Power BI dashboards and reports we've built on other APIs similar to Wrike's that use OAuth 2.0. Please feel free to reach out to me at
tony@emdata.ai if you'd like to discuss.
Regards,
Tony

Subject: Power BI and Wrike integration
Hi
Anyone has experience integrating Power BI with Wrike Project Management tool?
I would like to know your experience... if you developed the API yourselves or hired someone to do it? How did it work?
I am starting a project to design some dashboards in Power BI and I need to bring in the dates that are stored in Wrike.
I appreciate your comments.
Thanks.
