Microsoft MVP Belinda Allen joins us and several PUG members present this Thursday at 2:00!

MVP Belinda Allen returns to the Green Bay Power BI User Group this Thursday at 2:00. Her featured topic will be Data Modeling in Power BI. When she told us what her presentation topic was, I asked her also to talk about something I think that bedevils everybody that tries to get used to the way Power BI handles data. That is, if you've got SQL tables, for example, that have nice, neat relationships set up between them using multiple key fields, Power BI pitches a fit. It doesn't want to see multi-field keys. I asked Belinda to talk about that. What are the things you need to do to work around that? (Register here ... the link to the Teams meeting is on the registration page!)

We will also have presentations from:

Steve Erbach: one of the newest features introduced in Power BI within the last couple months
Paul VanDyck: the CALCULATE() function: what does it do differently from SUM and filtering?
Emily Schmalz: I am going to talk about maximizing and innovating available report space with the new "personalize visual" functionality as well as using drillthroughs effectively.

We'll have the usual Power BI User Group news and Q&A for those nagging problems you'd love to resolve!

Please register so we can get credit for your attendance at our meeting! That link goes to the Registration page where you'll find a gold  RSVP  button. You'll also find the Microsoft Teams link for the meeting.

We'll see you on Thursday at 2:00!
