Is there a way to use active directory groups to automatically control user access for workspaces and reports within Power Bi service?

    Hello Katie,

you can use Azure Active Directory Security groups to control access to published Power BI apps. For Workspaces the same is possible when you are using the new Workspace type. See following link:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-create-the-new-workspaces

    Best regards,
    Martin

Hi Katie, You can use Active directory groups with the new PBI workspapces and PBI Apps, we have implemented this and works fine.
Note. On-Prem AD is sync'ed withe Azure Active Directory.
