    Hey Everyone,

First post so, if I'm missing key information, please let me know.  Here's the issue I'm running into.  I'm trying to chart out on a line graph multiple attendance figures.  However, when I add in more than one, it auto-sums the additional totals.  What I want to see is each line give me attendance on given dates.  After I get this, I want to make another line graph that will show me all of those figures by date added up.  What am I missing?  If I'm missing key information from my post, please let me know and I can add it in.  The spreadsheet I'm pulling data from has separate tabs for each location and the date and attendance for those locations.  Thanks!

Attached is the file.  Each location is abbreviated with the 3 digit code, and attendance is taken at each location.  The desired output would be a line graph that not only shows a line for each locations attendance, but also a line that sums all of the lines.  I will be using this to total other information from the spreadsheet as well by date range.  So, your help goes beyond this line to first time guests, decisions, etc.  I thought adding a slicer might help, but it didn't, it just filtered the date on what info was on the graph which wasn't accurate, except the one line.  Thanks,

    Hi @Jeremy Stuempert,

Is this the solution that you are looking for?

If yes, I have attached my PBIX file here. If you have any question as how to reach the solution please let me know.

Also, the model will work much better if you combine all the locations into one sheet and remove all the blank rows from the excel file itself, as then you will have to remove the blank rows in the query editor in PBI.

You can see the table that I have used in the PBIX file 'Attendance' Table.

I hope this will resolve your issue.

Yes it is, and yes it all makes sense!  I was able to apply similar steps to the other areas I needed as well.  Thank you all!

    Hi @Jeremy Stuempert,

Just one other recommendation, that please use Dimension/Look-up tables, for locations as well.

Later on, when your data model gets bigger, it will work better if you have Dimension tables.

    Thank you,
