    Hi guys,
    I'm a new member here.

Would like to know, how are you create Dimension for Power BI for D365 Financial Dimension ?

The thing is I'm still cannot figure out 1 main issue: Posted transactions and Unposted transaction.
So far that I know, F&O using 2 different table and both using 2 different key.
    1. There is DimensionAttributeValueCombination for their Posted with LedgerDimension as the key
    2. There is DimensionAttributeValueSet for their DefaultDimension as the key

And I'm not a SQL savvy either, right as I know, it is really all posted goes to table no.1 and all unposted goes to table no.2. What strange, all unposted will goes to posted eventually, does it mean those record in table no.2 got deleted and removed to table.1 ?

How to use it together ? is there a view for both ? and how about the Aggregate Dimension which we can use in PowerBI ?

    Thanks,
    Morgan

    Hi Morgan,

Ah, the joys of AX/F&O reporting....NOT a joy!

Take a look at LedgerJournalMultiCollection entity. In that entity it will show the combined data with a field called IsPosted. This is a Yes/No values that you can use to view both the posted and not posted transactions.

    Hope this helps.
