    Hi Folks,
I publish a set of reports 9 months ago, in the former workspace version (v1). Now some Macintosh MacBook user complain about Power BI web service : (Cloud) PowerBI Web all page segments doe not work on Safari, as if segment filtering Froze.
As Power BI change every month, is there a recommandation to upgrade v1 workspaces ? Is there a recommandation to republish form PBI Desktop again once and a while ?or is it without effect ?
And what about Safari and Firefox Support ? does users really need to update every time ?
    Didier

If your dataset does not have any structural (semantic) changes and your data sources have not changed either then a dataset refresh and app update is not technically required.  But it also doesn't hurt.

Migrating to v2 workspaces will get you better workspace user roles, and then availability of shared datasets.  It's ok to migrate, we haven't seen any negative side effects (apart from the inability to revert the change - they advertise it is possible but in reality it doesn't work.  NBD.)

    Hi Lutz,

Thanks a lot for your answer. I think I can see what happens.
When  I followed your advise, going to update the dataset on the service i got the strange message :
Something went wrong There was an error when processing the data in the dataset.
Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details.
Data source error: {"error":{"code":"DMTS_OAuthTokenRefreshFailedError","pbi.error":{"code":"DMTS_OAuthTokenRefreshFailedError","parameters":{"ConnectionDetails":"{\"kind\":\"SharePoint\",\"path\":\"https://tenantname.sharepoint.com/sites/zzz\"}","CredentialType":"OAuth2","DatasourceType":"SharePointList"},"details":[{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorMessage","detail":{"type":1,"value":"AADSTS50173: The provided grant has expired due to it being revoked, a fresh auth token is needed. The user might have changed or reset their password. The grant was issued on '2019-08-06T13:44:56.8930453Z' and the TokensValidFrom date (before which tokens are not valid) for this user is '2020-03-27T17:50:02.0000000Z'

the account who refresh the dataset was an internal account, and that a token needed to be updated. I did not  changed this account password but probably security needs some re authentication, when using an office Group Workspace. So i just refreshed the authentication to the dataset with this account, and the refresh of several datasets were working again.

I still do not know if there is a link between the frozen segment on the web and the lack of proper refresh of the dataset.

That's correct, depending on your company's session expiration policies you may have to re-authenticate sharepoint connections from time to time.  Good catch.
