    Suk.....

    Hej Jan,

Afhængig af dit konkrete behov kunne du måske overveje at bruge google's MAP api til at lave et billede ud fra dine MIN/MAX X Y værdier

    http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/staticmap?center=33.402285,-111.942715&zoom=19&size=600x600&maptype=satellite&sensor=false&path=color%3awhite|weight:1|fillcolor%3ablack|33.4022475,-111.9426775|33.4022475,-111.9427525|33.4023225,-111.9427525|33.4023225,-111.9426775|33.4022475,-111.9426775

Hej Erik, tak for dit svar.

    Hi Jan,
sorry for writing in English in the Danish group. I can read Danish, but writing is hard for me.

    two suggestions:
    1) use the Synoptic Panel custom visual, drawing the polygon in svg format, for instance with Inkscape and then try to import using Synoptic panel.

    2) use a custom Shape map. They are vectors; you can draw lines, polygons, etc. But you have to use an external tool such as QGIS and then convert the shapefile into topojson in oder to import it into Power BI.

Don't know whether is there any custom visual that allow you to get a polygon.
Hope you can figure out how to carry on this task. Feel free to ask if any question arises.

    Regards

IT people who can't understand English, is like an Italian without his horn (in the car!)

    > two suggestions:

I should have mentioned that the data is in a Azure DB, and there's added to it on the fly. So I want to be able to link to the DB, and have (more or less) live data. So to convert it/make the polygons in QGIS and then move it, is not an option.

Not that I have found. And I'm surprised. Maps is really a place where PBI could be much better.

    At this moment I can't!
