The Houston Power BI User Group meeting is this Thursday 16 May 2019 at the Microsoft City Center office. In addition to several excellent presentations from members, we will also be organizing a team (some teams?) for the Power BI Hackathon. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

    Hi Glen,

I am based in Austin and am helping to get the Austin PUG started so we can have regular meetings here.  We will be having our first meeting on 6/20.

Judy Blackshear recommended that I reach out to you about the upcoming Hackathon to get information about it and any contacts you might recommend to get details about the State-Level-Thon.  She is from Austin but has been attending the Houston PUG since there was not an Austin PUG.

Anyway if you have any details you can share about these that would be very helpful.  These are some items we could add to our agenda for our 6/20 meeting.

    Thanks for your help.
    Mike

Wow!  From nearly zero activity for months to a user group with lots of excitement!  That is great to see.  We have added Matthew Floyd and Sean Lilley to the PUG leadership meeting. From the looks of things, I'm sure there will be other participants at some point as well.
