TitleTownUSAsmall.jpgThe Green Bay Power BI User Group is for Northeast Wisconsin Power BI users (and users from all over the world virtually!) to meet and learn more about Power BI. It's that simple!

We're very pleased to announce that Mr. Pedro Medina of the Minneapolis-based data science company, Haystack, will be our featured speaker on July 30th at 2:00 Central Time. This will again be a Microsoft Teams meeting. Here's the link, and you'll see it down below, too.

Mr. Medina is the founder and Chief Analytics Officer of Haystack. He presented for the Level Up! MidWest online event on June 12th, and we asked him to present for us, too.

Pedro and his team have been working with an Open Source product called the Analytics Platform from KNIME, a Zurich, Switzerland-based company. Pedro will compare data analytics using Power Query to Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) SQL data into Power BI; and then use KNIME to do the ETL in a visual, code-free environment.

We will also have a short presentation by Derek Poggemann of Heartland Business Systems in Little Chute. I'll let him describe it for you:

TikTok has been growing in popularity, now ranked the top free application in the Apple Store. I will be sharing a Power BI report that analyzes the substantial profits TikTok users can make from this application. It will dive into the metrics and demographics of the top 50 most popular TikTok users, providing fun and engaging visualizations to display the data.

As usual, we'll have a review of upcoming Power BI events, a look at new Power BI features and Custom Visualizations, and a free-wheeling Q&A session!

You may register for the July 30th meeting here!

You can have an ultra-close-up recap of our May 28th meeting by checking out these links:

Members are welcome to suggest topics for us to explore. We also are looking for more sites for our meetings. If your company has a meeting room with good computer hookups and high definition projector, please let one of us know. And If you're interested in a leadership role -- or especially if you have a nifty Power BI dashboard that you'd be willing to demo to the group -- please contact either @Gregg Froelich@Paul VanDyck, @Nicole Cyphers, or @Steve Erbach.
