  • 1.  Date format issue

    Help please!
    I have converted dates to UK/European format (DD/MM/YYYY), which is working fine.
    I have a problem however when trying to calculate a column where it changes the format to US (MM/DD/YYYY). The calculated column is:

    PERIOD = ('table1'[START_DATE]) &"-"& ('table1'[FINAL_ENDDATE])

    File settings are UK English format.

    Has anyone else had this issue?

FORMAT ( [START_DATE], "dd/mm/yyyy" ) & "-"
    & FORMAT ( [FINAL_ENDDATE], "dd/mm/yyyy" )​

    American format date is my nightmare :)
