    Hello,

    Please refer to attached.

I have 2 columns named as Risk Factor 1 and Risk Factor 2, were we have similar text in both the columns i.e. Opportunity and Risk.

I need to have a single slicer based on this 2 columns.

For e.g. when I select Opportunity from the slicer, the sum for Period 1 should come as $3.05M and for Period 2, the sum should be $1.10M

Similarly when we select Risk from Slicer, Period 1 sum should be $0.0 and Period 2 sum should come to $1.19M

    Hi Kumar,

My Apologize, but was not able to understand the logic applied to the attached dashboard by you.

I see there are 2 manual tables created and the slicer is acting accordingly.

We need a dynamic (single) slicer based on the 2 columns i.e. Risk Factor 1 and Risk Factor 2.

Could you please explore more for me to understand. Thanks! for your time.

    Hopefully this what you're looking

You can verify the attachment in transformation

I have created. Two references table from your excel sheet and disabled the original table1

Created one dim table for risk factors and give the relationship and check

    Regards

    Hi,

It seems that the previous suggestions were already working. Anyway, check the attach if this make more sense.

To make the filter from 2 different field, your option is to create another table that will summarized or group the field in distinct form which was already done by the previous response from Kumar, then link it to your filter.

    Hi Kumar and Ardie,

Thanks! after doing some analysis provided by both of you seems to be working.

However I had provided very few data columns earlier. Whereas, how can we add more slicers.

In attached excel, I added a Country column. How can we slice this at once at Risk and Country level. And there are few more columns that I need to include in the slicer.

My Apologize, if I was not not clear at initial stage.

If you provide us sample dataset then we can do something similar to existing data

    Hi Kumar,

Let me know if the attached sample data works.

I would like to have filter of Risk Factor, Country and Status.

    Hi Prem,

Same logic will apply whether you use Kumar logic or mine. You just need to create another table for Country and Status then make the link to your union table.

    Attached is the sample PBI.

    Hi,

Appreciate your support! This is what the Output I was looking for.

I was also trying from my end, but I was applying different logics within RiskFactor Table. But your solution worked.

Thank you for all your support from all 3 of you.
