Designing Power BI Reports using Bookmarks and Drillthrough – Ted Pattison
As we move into 2018, Power BI’s recent introduction of bookmarking features and drillthrough capabilities really change the way we design reports. In this month’s meeting, Ted Pattison demonstrate how to effectively use bookmarks to capture filter settings from slicers and visual sorting preferences and how to hide, show and spotlight specific visuals. You’ll also learn how to associate bookmarks with navigation buttons which report consumers can use to move from page to page or to navigate across multiple views created from a single page.
Using Apps (Content Packs) in Power BI to gain better insights into your SAS systems - Jeremy Kingry
Formally called Content Packs, the Microsoft Power BI Apps are a great tool to gain additional insight into your organizations data. In this meeting Jeremy will give a high-level overview of the available apps as well as instructions on deployment the Sales Analytics for Dynamics 365 App. If time allows we will also cover creating your own app within Power BI to distribute within your organization.
