I get great satisfaction by helping clients to become more aware about what's happening in their business by using a range of data analytical tools and techniques. Unlike a lot of people, I love working with messy data; it's very rewarding when it's been transformed and starts to reveal its secrets.
I sometimes compare data cleansing and data analytics to doing the ‘house work’ – if every room in the house is a mess don’t be surprised if you can’t find your phone, keys or wallet.
I would love to hear from anyone who might need a bit of help with managing their data and ultimately learn how to interpret it.
Most people tend to think that to be good at ‘Business Intelligence’ requires expensive software and you need to be a Data Analyst. Both of these perceptions are untrue – if you’d like to why this is the case please get in touch.
