Sergei Gundorov is a Principal Program Manager on the Power BI team at Microsoft. He has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and has published numerous articles over the course of 27 years through multiple channels on various subjects that range from accounting and economics to in depth technical articles on Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN). Sergei’s most recent contribution was to the Security Whitepaper for Power BI updates in March 2019. He has presented valuable technological advancements to worldwide developer audiences at TechEd, TechReady, Difinity, MBAS, etc… conferences. He has participated in and contributed to numerous webcasts focused on technologies in which he is considered an industry expert. He is an inventor and has filed for and obtained several patents related to Microsoft Excel and Excel Services. Sergei runs the popular technical XLGeek’s Space blog where his work is praised highly by readers and users of his apps.
Phil Seamark works on the Microsoft Power BI CAT team and is an accomplished database and business intelligence (BI) professional. Phil has an in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft BI stack along with extensive knowledge of data warehouse (DW) methodologies and enterprise data modelling. Phil has expert knowledge in all facets of BI/DW including planning architecture, project management, dimensional modelling, performance tuning, ETL design, development and optimisation, report and dashboard design as well as installation and administration.
